For example, the diesel engine, which is the "heart" of the whole machine, will reduce the viscosity of the oil and the lubricating effect at the same time due to the increase in temperature, thereby weakening the power and easily wearing the internal parts.

In the hot summer, when repairing the small excavator, the diesel engine must be carefully maintained, so that the small excavator can be used safely in the high temperature in summer and prolong the service life of the whole machine.

1. The engine oil and lubricating oil need to be replaced in summer. Check frequently for oil leaks.

2. Supplement the battery fluid in time, appropriately reduce the charging current, replace the aging circuit in time, the fuse capacity meets the requirements for safe use, and the equipment is equipped with a fire extinguisher.

3. Check the water pump fan drive belt. After the belt is used frequently in summer, fatigue and deformation will occur, reducing the cooling effect. When replacing the belt, pay attention to the model and length, and adjust the tightness correctly.

4. Regularly check the braking efficiency of the whole machine, find and eliminate the fault of the braking system in time, and reduce the hidden danger of accidents.

5. Always pay attention to the degree of the water temperature gauge. When the temperature reaches 100℃ or above, measures should be taken in time. You can choose to park in the near shade and cool down at idle speed. Be careful not to stop the engine immediately to prevent the engine from overheating and causing a cylinder pull accident.

6. When wading, the inclination angle of the small excavator should not exceed 15°, so as to avoid the upper structure being immersed in water and damaging the radiator. The rail tensioning cylinder should also be loosened and tightened frequently to remove the sludge on the cylinder and prevent the cylinder from rusting.

7. In summer, the weather is hot, and the driver is physically tired and easily fatigued. You can't force yourself to overtire and drive. You should get enough sleep to be more productive at work.
